Hi, I'm Darian, a math, CS, and mythology enthuisiast. I am enrolled in Amplus Academy as a sophomore (10th) in high school. I have worked on a few small projects on before where you can see here, though the big ones are below.
This certification is from BYU and the way I obtained this is by showing creativity and a strive to go back and refine my previous projects.
This certificiation allows me to handle food. This is useful for me as, as of now I am in a few club in the school I go to and this card allows me to handle food (e.g. selling it).

This is one of my project I made for BYU and it is one of my favorites. It is a map made in Desmos which is heavily inspired by Greek Mythology and Epic the Musical. It has a lot of moving parts (literally) and was a blast to work on.

This project is an app I made in Canva meant to be used for Student Council. What this app does is that it takes in a large list of names and an image as an input and it outputs that list of names on the image in Canva. The need for this app is because Student Council does this manually and later prints what they made in Canva and cuts it out.

This was a group project that I did with a few friends in my Latin class. I did the 3d-modeling part of this project which you can see in the picture all over the place, from boats to the tenements.

Overall math has been an important part of my life since 7th grade. Back when I was younger (6th grade and before) I hated math like everyone else, but that changed when my 7th grade teacher reccomended me to do IXL which made me fall in love with the subject. Ever since I have been a math-a-addict and can not stop doing it. Two of my favorite subjects in math are Number Theory and Complex Analysis which I would argue are two of the most beautiful parts of mathematics.
Python is one of my favorite languages to use. I have used it for a lot of projects and it is one of the languages I am most comfortable with. I have used it for a lot of projects and I am always looking for new ways to use it. This language also helps me learn DSA (e.g. binary search) and its the most used language I use for LeetCode.
Latin is one of my favorite (non computational) languages I've learned. It is arguably one of the more complex languages I've learned sytatically (definitely more complex Python). Although Latin is a bit of a challenge it is fun to learn the language and the culture behind it. Also fun fact about Latin: most languages come from it, which means learning Latin allows me to understand other Romance languages which sometimes comes in handy.
Linux is one of my favorite OS's (especially Kali) and I use it almost daily. I mainly use Linux for file management because I find that finder on my Mac Book is way to slow and I would much rather use Zsh which comes built in. Also something else I like about Linux is the mascot because this goofy pengiun can do very devious things like the two commands :(){:|:&};: and sudo rm --no-preserve-root -rf / which will destroy your system when executed.
